AOC Menetou-Salon can be produced across 10 villages in the Cher department. The village of Mentou-Salon lends the appellation its name, but the boundary extends to Quantilly, Aubinges, Saint-Céols, Morogues, Parassy, Soulangis, Vignoux-sous-les-Aix, Pigny and Humbligny. These village names can be added to the label.
