Recioto di Gambellara is a sweet ‘passito’ style wine made from dried grapes grown around the town of Gambellara in north east Italy.
Much like the Recioto produced in neighbouring Soave Garganega is the key grape variety, along with Trebbiano di Soave. In Gambellara the the use of Chardonnay and Pinot Bianco is also permitted.
