Black skinned grape grown around the Croatian city of Split.
Once considered to be another name for Babić, DNA testing has revealed that this black skinned variety is actually related to Plavac Mali and thus Tribidrag. It’s a rare grape and there is not much of it around, although it is seeing increased attention as part of Croatia’s ongoing culture and heritage projects to promote autochthonous varieties.
