A blend of local and international grapes cultivated on the Maime estate in San Pietro Vernotico and the Bocca di Lupo estate in Minervino Murge. Varieties fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. An eight month period of maturation in stainless steel tanks then followed. A small part of the final blend aged in small oak barrels, used three or four times previously, and were then blended in before the wine was bottled.
