Abrusco is a fairly obscure red grape variety found in Tuscany. Often considered a synonym for Colorino but is distinctly different from the widespread Colorino del Valdarno. The prestigious and historical Barone Ricasoli use a small amount of Abrusco in their 'Brolio' Chianti Classico.
