Madrasa

Madrasa is a red skinned grape variety cultivated in Azerbaijan. It is indigenous to the village of Madrasa in Azerbaijan, although the grape has extended its territory toward the Caspian Sea and into Armenia. There are dozens of synonyms for the grape and increased testing may well reveal a host of genetic relationships with other varieties grown in this part of the world.
