Ortrugo is a white grape variety grown in the Italian region of Emilia Romagna. It is best known for its role in the DOC Otrugo dei Colli Piacentini where it appears as either a still, frizzante or spumante wine. The grape is increasingly popular for its ability to give fresh, easy drinking white wines with attractive fruit character.
