Planted mainly around Vrgorac in the South of Dalmatia, Zlatarica Vrgorska is growing in popularity with plenty of winemakers working hard to carve a market for it. Generally it is blended, but when made into a varietal wine it produces fresh, light wines with gentle fruit.
