Luján de Cuyo is one of only two official DOC wines in Argentina. Only a handful of producers really use this however, preferring instead to trade off the region brand of Mendoza. First created in 1993 it covers the upper part of the Mendoza Valley, and while altitudes of over 1000m benefits Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay also shine here.
