Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru AOC

Corton Charlemagne is one of Burgundy’s most historic and revered Grand Cru vineyards for white wine, spread across the upper western slopes of the Corton hill in the communes of Aloxe Corton, Pernand Vergelesses, and Ladoix Serrigny. Planted exclusively to Chardonnay, the vineyard’s high elevation and marl-limestone soils produce wines of remarkable tension, depth, and ageing potential. Corton Charlemagne is known for its powerful structure, vibrant acidity, and layered mineral character, often developing complex notes of citrus, stone fruit, and crushed rock with time in bottle.
