Cantina Boscarelli was founded in 1962 by Egidio Corradi, an economist with deep roots in Tuscany. Although his career had taken him far from the region, his passion for viticulture and winemaking inspired him to purchase two hectares of abandoned vineyard land in Cervognano, a historic area in Montepulciano known for its exceptional terroir. His daughter, Paola, and her husband, Ippolito De Ferrari Corradi, continued his work. Over the decades, the family expanded the property, acquiring additional vineyards within the two Montepulciano appellations. Egidio's grandchildren, Luca and Nicolò De Ferrari, joined the business, modernising the winery while staying true to its traditional approach. They prioritised low yields, sustainable farming, and meticulous attention to detail in both vineyard management and winemaking.
