Carmel Winery

Carmel Winery is Israel's historic name, founded in 1882 by Baron Edmond de Rothschild. Wine has been made here ever since, without, it is claimed, missing a single harvest. The main winery is at Zichron Ya’acov, which is situated on the southern slopes of Mount Carmel in the Galilee Highlands, but the winery also purchases fruit from various regions of the country.
