🗺 Bordeaux, France
Château Haut Bergey dates back to the fifteenth century and was acquired by Sylviane Garcin-Cathaird in the early 1990s. The estate has been extensively renovated and the construction of three new chais were carried out to rehabilitate the domain. The twenty-nine hectares of Haut Bergey are not all in production. Twenty-one hectares are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 35% Merlot while three hectares are planted with 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Semillon. Grapes are harvested by hand, while the wine-making and ageing processes are carefully controlled by an on-site analysis laboratory.
