Château Sociando-Mallet is a highly respected estate in the Haut-Médoc overlooking the Gironde estuary.

Today, owner Jean Gautreau oversees 85 hectares planted with 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc. The vines have an average age of thirty plus years and are planted in excellent gravelly soils.
