Located between the village of La Cadière d’Azur and Saint-Cyr- sur-Mer, the Vannières castle is exposed south-west and sheltered to the north by the Sainte Baume massif. In 1957, Lucien Boudot, a respected wine maker in Beaujolais and the Rhone Valley purchased this 33 hectare domaine and today Eric Boisseaux (his grandson), is pushing Château Vannières forward, through a combination of modern oenology and a respect for the originality of the terroir and local Mourvèdre, Grenache and Cinsault grape varieties.
