Located in the heart of the Chianti Classico region, Castello di Fonterutoli lies near Castellina in Chianti, approximately 15 kilometers north of Siena. The estate spans 650 hectares, with vineyards situated at altitudes ranging from 220 to 570 meters above sea level, benefiting from diverse microclimates and soil compositions.

The estate encompasses 110 hectares of vineyards, divided into 114 distinct parcels across seven sub-zones of Chianti Classico. This diversity allows for the cultivation of various grape varieties, primarily Sangiovese, along with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.
