Ideally placed at the foot of Serralunga d'Alba's impressive 14th century castle, Tenuta Cucco produce interesting Barolo from the chalky soils that characterise the Cru site known as Cerrati. The name 'cucco' comes from the local dialect word for 'summit', a reference to the topography of the estate's oldest vineyard and the source of one of Tenuta Cucco's best wines, Vigna Cucco.
