Description

Gini’s Salvarenza is one of the great wines of Soave. Utilising very old vines (some more than one hundred years old) from a small plot within the La Froscà cru, Garganega is hand harvested in fermented in oak where it spends around eighteen months in contact with its lees. No sulphites are added prior to fermentation, a process which Sandro Gini has honed since first attempting it in 1985. The result is usually a complex wine that stands up as one of Soave’s great age-worthy wines.
