Alentejo VR "Vinhas Velhas" by Herdade das Servas

Fifty year old vineyards producing low yields in schist and limestone soils. Fermented in stainless steel tanks, followed by eighteen months in first and second passage French and American oak. It then spends twelve months in bottle before release. Not produced every year, previous vintages are 2005, 2009, 2012.
