Dolcetto di Ovada Superiore DOCG "Du Riva" by Azienda Vitivinicola Luigi Tacchino

Named in tribute to Romina Tacchino’s grandfather, it was the first Dolcetto from Ovada to win 3 bicchieri with Gambero Rosso (2012). The first vintage was made in 2000. 2002 was a tricky year and it was not made, and in 2004 quantity was tiny. When quality is not as high the wine goes into the entry level Dolcetto.
