Toscana IGP "50 & 50" by Avignonesi

Avignonesi’s 50 & 50 is a Tuscan red wine created through a collaboration between two renowned wineries - Avignonesi and Capannelle. It is composed of equal parts Sangiovese from Montepulciano and Merlot from Gaiole in Chianti, hence its name. The wine is aged in oak barrels, allowing the two grape varieties to integrate while retaining their distinct regional characters. First produced in 1988, 50 & 50 was initially a one-off vintage but became an ongoing project after its success as a symbol of friendship and partnership between the two estates.
