The Carmignao Riserva comes from a careful selection of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grown in the estate’s oldest vineyards, which benefit from south facing exposure. Fermentation sees a long soaking and frequent repassing of must over the grapes. Malolactic fermentation followed by maturation in French durmast barriques for a minimum of twelve months before a further year or more in bottle.
