Le Coste di Monforte wines

Le Coste di Monforte is a small, lesser-known MGA located in the commune of Monforte d’Alba, positioned on moderately steep, south-facing slopes with compact clay-limestone soils. The site produces firmly structured wines with dark fruit, pronounced tannins, and a mineral backbone, reflecting Monforte’s hallmark power and ageing potential. Though not as widely recognised as neighbouring crus, Le Coste di Monforte offers a classic and focused expression of the commune’s robust style.
