Champans wines

Champans is one of Volnay’s most esteemed Premier Cru vineyards, situated on the lower to mid-slope just south of the village. Its deep, well-drained soils of clay and limestone give rise to some of the appellation’s more structured and age-worthy wines, marked by vibrant red and black fruit, firm yet refined tannins, and a long, savoury finish. Champans is often seen as a benchmark climat, combining power and elegance. Sometimes seen as En Champans on the label.
