Clos des 60 Ouvrées is a historic Premier Cru vineyard located within the larger climat of Caillerets in Volnay and is a monopole owned by Domaine de la Pousse d'Or. The name refers to an old Burgundian unit of measurement, with sixty ouvrées roughly equating to two and a half hectares. With its thin, chalky soils and mid-slope position, the vineyard produces Pinot Noir of striking finesse, clarity, and aromatic lift, often regarded as one of the most precise and ageworthy expressions within the Caillerets sector.
