Clos des Ducs is a prestigious Premier Cru monopole located high on the slopes above the village of Volnay and is owned entirely by Domaine Marquis d’Angerville. Its well-exposed, limestone-rich soils and elevated position produce wines of remarkable precision, energy, and ageing potential. Often considered one of the most complete and aristocratic expressions of Volnay, Clos des Ducs yields Pinot Noir with lifted aromatics, fine yet firm tannins, and a long, mineral-driven finish that deepens beautifully over time.
