Frémiets wines

Frémiets is a well-regarded Premier Cru vineyard located on the northern edge of Volnay, directly bordering Pommard. Its soils are a transitional mix of limestone and clay, slightly deeper than those found higher on the slope, which contribute to a style that blends the finesse of Volnay with the firmer structure often associated with Pommard. Pinot Noir from Fremiets typically shows vibrant red fruit, floral lift, and a polished, medium-bodied frame, offering a precise and balanced expression that can age gracefully over time.
