Cannubi is one of the most iconic and historic MGAs in the Barolo zone, located just east of the village of Barolo on a prominent, gently sloping ridge with excellent southern exposure. Its soils are a rare mix of Tortonian and Helvetian formations, marl, sand, and clay, resulting in wines that combine aromatic finesse with depth and structure. Known for producing Barolo that is elegant, balanced, and long-lived, Cannubi has long been considered a benchmark cru and a symbol of the region’s prestige.
