Cerretta is a highly regarded MGA in the commune of Serralunga d’Alba, positioned on steep, south to southwest-facing slopes with compact clay-limestone soils. The site produces deeply structured, mineral-driven Barolo with firm tannins, dark fruit, and earthy complexity, often requiring extended ageing to fully express its depth. Cerretta has gained increased recognition in recent years through focused single-vineyard bottlings, establishing it as one of Serralunga’s most expressive and ageworthy crus.
