Kotsifali is a red grape variety indigenous to the island of Crete, notably around the Heraklion district. It is also grown in the Cyclades. Kotsifali is known for providing aromas of red fruit as well as a distinctive tomato note.
Located in the south of Crete, at an altitude of 500 metres, Domaine Zacharioudakis was founded in 2000 by journalist Stelios Zacharioudakis and his wife Victoria. Today there are 20 hectares of vineyard connected with a state of the art winery.
