Although Italy’s smallest, and probably least known wine region, this high altitude landscape offers a wealth of premium quality wines from both international and native varieties.
The only DOC in the Aosta Valley, Valle d’Aosta DOC covers around 500 hectares and allows for 31 different geographical sub zones. The area’s altitude generally means that the wines are light and fresh.
