Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Serrone” Riserva
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Serrone” Riserva
Azienda Agricola Torricino di Stefano di Marzo, Campania, Italy
2020 2019
Greco (100%)
“Quite restrained on the nose initially, but with time complex citrus notes emerge. Grapefruit and orange peel merge with scents of white flower. On the palate the wine is full, round, polished. Flinty mineral texture present. Style is on the ripe side but backed up by razor sharp acidity. Plenty to offer.”

Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vittorio”
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vittorio”
Azienda Agricola di Meo, Campania, Italy
2008
Greco (100%)
“Enchanting nose of pure, crystalline lime fruit ensconced in smoky, petrol coated peach. Refined, oily texture with notes of citrus, honeycomb, vanilla and cream. Stunning wine with juicy concentration, mineral complexity, depth and gravitas. Potentially the best expression of aged Greco around.”
94 Paul Caputo
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Alèxandros”
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Alèxandros”
Colli di Lapio Romano Clelia, Campania, Italy
2021 2018
Greco (100%)
“Simple and straight forward wine but with lots of charm. Powerful citrus and stone fruit notes on both the nose and the palate, with balanced but prominent acidity. The estate’s Fiano stands out more. Elegant and very well made.”
90 Paul Caputo
Greco di Tufo DOCG
Greco di Tufo DOCG
Sertura, Campania, Italy
2013
Greco (100%)
“The 2013 Greco di Tufo is impressively good. Delicately floral, with a touch of blossom flower and white peaches, it was full and expressive in the mouth with generous helpings of tropical fruit over wet slate. A piercing jolt of acidity dissipated into a soft, gentle finish of white peach.”
90 Paul Caputo
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Ortale” Riserva
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Ortale” Riserva
Azienda Agricola Torricino di Stefano di Marzo, Campania, Italy
2020 2019
Greco (100%)
“Pear and apple on the nose, with a touch of vanilla and cream. Slightly more linear and to the point than the estate’s other cru wines. Cut glass acidity complements a palate of expressive orchard tree fruit. Intense, balanced, powerful. Firm splash of green fruit on the finish.”
90 Paul Caputo
Greco di Tufo DOCG
Greco di Tufo DOCG
Donnachiara, Campania, Italy
2015
Greco (100%)
“An interesting nose and palate. Perhaps not as instantly exotic as other Greco from the area but nevertheless it’s harmonious, balanced and well made. Elegant style with notable pear and peach on the finish.”
87 Paul Caputo
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Laure” Riserva
Greco di Tufo DOCG “Vigna Laure” Riserva
Azienda Agricola Torricino di Stefano di Marzo, Campania, Italy
2020 2019
Greco (100%)
“A slightly lighter, fruitier expression than the estate’s ‘Vigna Ortole’ and ‘Vigna Serrone’. Crisp, primary fruit notes of lemons and oranges. Some mature fruit notes on the palate though, a tiny touch of brioche giving complexity. Polished. Elegant. Well made. Still young, but plenty of life ahead of this. Finishes with notes of pear and wet flint.”
92 Paul Caputo
