Pursuing her Master of Wine certification, she has also been a regular wine and spirits writer for Tasting Panel, Somm Journal, VinePair, Punch, and SevenFifty Daily. Mowery is a graduate of the University of Virginia and Fordham Law School. She completed two wine harvests in South Africa. Today, she spends nearly six months of the year on the road uncovering new wines and travel experiences while continuing to develop a specialization in Italian, Spanish, South African, and Greek wines.

In late August, wine writer Lauren Mowery attended the 2023 preview of the VDP’s Grosses Gewächs (GG) wines in Wiesbaden. Lauren’s journey into German Pinot Noir began in 2015, and this tasting revealed remarkable progress.
