Crisana & Maramures

Located in the Northwest of Romania, Crisana & Maramures is one of the country’s most westernised regions when it comes to wine styles. Situated close to the Austrian border the area was a long time source of wines for the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Notable grapes here are Cadarcă and Mustoasa de Maderat.
