Balla Géza Winery was founed in 1999 and is one of the key players in the Crisana and Maramures region. Covering 105 hectares of vineyard, the winery is pushing ahead with its promotion of rare grape varieties such as Mustoasă of Măderat and is committed to the development of the Miniş DOC.

Oliver Bauer, famous for being the winemaker at Prince Stirbey, founded Crama Bauer in 2012 with the vision of producing authentic wines from the various grape varieties planted in the Drăgășani.

Domeniile Săhăteni is the winery of Aurelia Vișinescu, one of Romania’s most famous winemakers.

Prince Știrbey is one of the top names in Romanian wine. With a long, prestigious history of winemaking in the Dragasani area of Muntenia, the company is going from strength and is one of the most recognisable premium Romanian wine brands on the market.

Now covering about 250 hectares, the Oprişor Winery was revitalised when German (Reh Kendermann Gmbh) investment secured the purchase of the old Oprişor cellar in Mehedinţi County. Most of the wines are labelled as Dealurile Olteniei GI.

Budureasca is located in the heart of the Dealu Mare region. The winery focuses on a genuine respect for nature and tries to evoke the terroir of the Budureasca Valley through both indigenous and international varieties.

Crama Rotenberg is one of Muntenia-Oltenia’s small, boutique producers specialising in wines from Merlot.

Vitis Metamorfosis is an Antinori project focussing on varietal wines in Dealu Mare.

Lechburg is a small winery based in the heart of the Lechinţa DOC.

Cramele Recaş is the third largest producer in Romania, churning out up to 24 million bottles a year. The large estate increasingly promotes Romanian varieties such as Fetească Regală, Tămâioasă Românească and Negru de Drăgășani.
