“Slightly closed on the nose but when it opens up there are attractive layers of ripe black fruit and gentle spice. Cabernet Franc ensures a structured but fresh palate with moorish, chewy tannins and with 2015 being such a ripe vintage, the Merlot adds plenty of fleshy fruit character, blackcurrant and plum in particular. Decent length with a subtle earthy finish. This is a good solid pouring wine with plenty body, integrity and years ahead of it.”
