Despite its potential size, it is currently planted across about 200 limestone-based hectares of Sauvignon Blanc, Gamay and Pinot Noir.
Menetou-Salon is a premium white wine producing appellation in the Centre Loire. Its clay and limestone soils are a perfect match for the 360 hectares of Sauvignon Blanc that are planted. Red and rose wines are made with Pinot Noir.
Pouilly Fumé is home to some of the world’s best Sauvignon Blanc.
